Description: Originally published in 1581, this is a large format Victorian reprint of this important work as it is one of the few contemporary depictions of Gaelic Ireland in the 16th century and is noted for its woodcuts.This is a limited edition of 286 copies. In original black and green mottled boards. With bookplate of Lord James Bulter.  The boards are a good with some fraying and damage to the top of the spine. The text and illustrations are clean and bright. Overall, very good.
