Description: Fisher Unwin, 1912. Sixth edition (Wade 99). With preface of 1901 edition and some revised content including The Countess Cathleen. A tight, firm copy with good corners and just a slight pushing to the bottom of the spine. The boards are clean and the iconic Althea Gyles design is remarkably bright and sharp. The interior is unmarked apart from an inscription dated Xmas 1912 on front free endpaper. There is a newspaper portrait of Yeats tipped into the reverse of the frontispiece. The text block is clean and bright. Rare to find this book with the binding so bright and unfaded.
