Description: Arkham House, 1950. First edition, 1st printing. In publisher's black boards with lettering in gilt to spine. A tight, square copy with good corners. Some offsetting to back endpapers. The text is clean with no marks or inscriptions apart from a small stain (0.5 cm) to the top edge of a few pages. Very good+. The dust wrapper is very bright, clean and unclipped. A very nice copy. 
Little known writer Leah Bodine Drake's weird, wonderful and occasionally chilling collection of occult poetry is one of Arkham House's less common titles as only 553 copies were printed. Drake reputedly paid for half of the print costs and took 300 copies for herself to gift or sell, leaving the paltry remainder for distribution by the publisher.
